the music source for the film is incompetech. we decided to use this website because it has copyright free music which can be downloaded. the site has a easy search section where you can choose different music styles which brings up a range of different audio effects. each audio source comes with a description and genre type. for the film i was making, i choose the options suspence , dark ,intence and theses options come back with a lot of responces. we looked though alot of them and decided which ones we thought would fit with the theme and the story and genre of the film. we also used cuebase 6 that was joined to a keyboard we wanted to create a short melody for the start of the film. we had many different rhythms in mind and tried to match the story and whats going on onscreen.
this is the music source i used in my film to add suspence and shock to certain parts of the film. my self and my group looked though all different types of music effects and melodys that cover a wide range of moods. we searched other sites for music but ended up looking mostly at this one due to the amount of effects that are all copyright free. we narrowed the songs down to a few music clips that might possible fit, we started to tie the music we thought would suit in with the film and we discussed where it could possibly fit and be cut into. many music peices where thought about and discussed. we ended up choosing a music piece to run along side the start of the film but we later took it out because other opinions in the group thought that another music piece would fit. we ended up in the final cut having multiple music pieces running at different points in the film to add tension and shock to whats happening in the video clips.
